President Bollinger's Tenth Annual FUN RUN 5K Run/Walk

Check-in: 7:30 - 8:00 a.m.
Start: 8:15 a.m.
The event will take place rain or shine.
Co-hosted by the Columbia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education.
Location
The Fun Run/Walk will start on College Walk (116th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam) and proceed through Riverside Park, ending at 116th Street. View map.
Who can participate?
All Columbia students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Fun Run. Registration is required.
Accessibility
The Fun Run is open to individuals of all abilities. The course is mostly flat with several small, but moderately steep hills. Although the course is paved, conditions vary and may develop puddles or mud depending on the weather. There are no steps/stairs on the course.
Representatives from the Office of Disability Services (ODS) will be on-hand to assist. If you have any concerns please contact ODS at disability@columbia.edu, 212-854-2388, or visit their Web site.
Registration and Waiver and Release Form
Registration is required. Registration will open on Thursday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Upon registering, you will receive an email with directions for printing the Fun Run Waiver and Release Form. The signed wavier is required at check-in.
Runners/walkers who do not complete the check-in process will not be able to participate.
Check-in
We strongly encourage participants to check in prior to race day.
Pre-Fun Run day check-in
Pre-Fun Run day check-in will take place at the Main Ramp, 2nd Floor (campus level) of Alfred Lerner Hall, 2920 Broadway on:
Wednesday, September 7, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 8, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Proceed through the turnstile at the campus entrance of Lerner Hall (Northeast corner). Check-in will be ahead on the left.
Fun Run day check-in
You may check in on the day of the event at the Sundial (near College Walk) on Friday, September 9 from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Additional Information
Water will be provided at both the halfway point and the finish line. Fruit, water, and a free Fun Run t-shirt will be available for participants after the Fun Run on College Walk.
Restrooms and showers will be available at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center.
