Columbia University President Bollinger§s 7th Annual 5K
Fun Run/Walk
Check-in: 7:15 ­ 8:00 a.m. (Please see the Registration and Check-in section below for more details.)
Start: 8:30 a.m.
The event will take place rain or shine.

Co-hosted by the Columbia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education.

Location
The Fun Run will start on College Walk (116th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam) and proceed through Riverside Park, ending in Riverside Park at 116th Street. Click here to view the Fun Run route map.

Who can participate?
All Columbia, Barnard and Teachers College students, faculty and staff are invited to partake in the Fun Run. You must register in order to participate.

Registration and Check-in
Registration and check-in are required.
Upon registering, you will receive an e-mail with further instructions for receiving a race bib and completing the waiver and release form.  The signed wavier must be presented at check-in in order to participate (see check-in times noted below.) Runners/walkers who do not complete the check-in process will not be able to participate.

Check-in
We strongly encourage participants to check-in prior to race day.

Pre-race day check-in
Pre-race day check-in will take place at the Main Ramp, 2nd Floor (campus level) of Alfred Lerner Hall, 2920 Broadway on:

• Wednesday, September 3, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, September 4, from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Race-day check-in
You may check-in on the day of the race on the South Lawn (just south of College Walk, immediately in front of Butler Library, 535 West 114th Street) on Friday, September 5, from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.*

*Please note that check-in will close promptly at 8:00 a.m. We suggest arriving early if you plan to check-in on the morning of the 5th to ensure ample time to complete the check-in process.

Refreshments and T-shirts
Water will be provided at the halfway point, as well as at the finish line.  Fruit, water and a Fun Run t-shirt will be available for Fun Run participants after the race on College Walk.

Locker Room Facilities
Restrooms and showers will be available at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center.
